You have a gold mine hidden within you. Pointless doubting it, its rhetorical. There are a zillion opportunities out there - you just need to pick one that suits you. Today I came across a young Indian achiever on a news channel, a thirteen year old who has created a 1000 animation films already!

Just yesterday, my friend shared her business plan with me. The logistics, the funding, the prior experience, the clientele, the marketing strategy, the product procurement and distribution - all seemed in place. Yet, she was indecisive and perhaps still is. What is causing this inertia, I wondered and secretly wished that she would at some point believe passionately in this new reality that she can create and would take the leap. So go for it my friend, go for it!!!

 

When we focus all our energy towards a goal, we start attracting ways and means of accomplishing that goal. This phenomenon that we know as coincidence or magic or universal law of attraction has a little more to it - our senses and our mind receive and process information that is relevant to us, from the immediate environment. We are thus able to be selective.

 

Epic tales that we all grew up listening to, describe protagonists as men or women with strong determination or in other words, a strong mind. Modern day beauty pageants also test this quality among contenders during the questions round. What does a strong mind really mean?

Few years back, I discovered that my mind, was easy to make, but the hardest to keep that way. It was so fickle that it would change with the slightest distraction. The millions of thoughts that came to me each day, distracted me from accomplishing what I wished to. Thoughts of failure, disbelief, despair crowded me (they still do at times) but I discovered a way to overcome them. I decided to rinse my mind everyday of all negativity and focus on all the good I wanted to be. With this objective, I discovered the pedestal-ladder concept that I have shared with the world in my e-book, "The New You".
